Case Study — Wafaa Loyaty App Promotional Video

Project Overview

Wafaa Loyaty required a promotional video designed specifically for users, not just brand awareness. The objective was to create an ad with a strong hook, a memorable concept, and a clear explanation of the app—while standing out from the usual promotional content audiences are used to seeing.


The Challenge

  • Create a promotional video that feels different and engaging
  • Capture attention immediately with a strong opening
  • Clearly explain the concept of the app
  • Drive high conversion within a short, impactful format

Concept & Idea

The core idea was built around the word “Wafaa”, which carries a double meaning:

  • A common girl’s name
  • The name of the app, meaning loyalty

The video starts with an actor/influencer being asked: “Who is Wafaa?”
He describes seeing “her” in different places, creating curiosity and emotional engagement.
The reveal comes later: Wafaa is not a person—it’s an app, present across multiple locations and services.

This narrative approach created intrigue first, then delivered clarity and message.

The Process

1. Script & Storyboard


I developed the full script and storyboard, defining:

  • The narrative structure
  • The hook and pacing
  • Key transitions
  • Message delivery and reveal timing

The focus was on keeping the story engaging while maintaining clarity.

2. Production Supervision
Once the concept was locked, I transferred the vision to the videographer.
I supervised the shoot as Art Director, guiding:

  • Camera movement
  • Scene composition
  • Transitions
  • Visual continuity
    to ensure everything aligned with the original vision.

3. Post-Production & Visual Enhancement
During editing, I enhanced the video using:

  • 3D elements
  • Masking techniques
  • Visual effects
    These elements helped reinforce the message, improve clarity, and elevate the overall production value.

Final Result

The final video delivered:

  • A strong hook
  • A memorable storytelling concept
  • Clear explanation of the app
  • High visual impact designed for conversion

The campaign successfully differentiated itself from standard promotional ads while remaining clear, engaging, and effective.
